Team World conquered the Laver Cup edging past Team Europe.

Team World showcased a commanding performance and edged past Team Europe by 13-2 to win the Laver Cup for a second successive year in Vancouver.

Team World suffered four straight defeats by Team Europe when the tournament began in 2017 but have won the last two editions.

Americans Ben Shelton and Frances Tiafoe beat Poland's Hubert Hurkacz and Russia's Andrey Rublev 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-5) in the doubles to triumph.

The Americans, who met earlier this month in the U.S. Open quarter-finals, found their rhythm to wrap up a final-day victory that lifted captain John McEnroe's team to 13 points and crushed any remaining hopes for Team Europe.

Team World will look to retain their title next year when the event is held in Berlin.
