Team India has regained the top spot in ICC Test Rankings from Australia ahead of their showdown in the World Test Championship final at The Oval on 7 June.
Australia had capitalized on the top spot for 15 months before India's surge to the summit.
Prior to the annual rankings update, Australia was at the top with 122 points with India behind by just three points (119).

Meanwhile, for India, their 2-0 defeat against New Zealand in 2019-20 is no longer in consideration for this update, giving them a two-point boost from 119 to 121.
