South Africa's Grant Roelofsen signed a deal with Gloucestershire for the T20 Vitality Blast.

County Club, Gloucestershire is delighted to announce the signing of South African wicketkeeper-batter Grant Roelofsen for the upcoming T20 Vitality Blast.

The 26-year-old, Grant Roelofsen will join Gloucestershire for the start of the T20 Vitality Blast campaign and will also provide cover in the County Championship while opener Marcus Harris links up with the Australia squad for the World Test Championship Final and 2023 Ashes series.

Across his career, the South African batter averages 34.58 in T20 cricket and 38.24 in first-class cricket, scoring eight centuries and 10 half-centuries in 79 innings in the latter format.

More recently, he suited up for MI Cape Town in the inaugural SA20 competition, during which he scored two half-centuries with a strike rate of 112 across 10 matches.

Having made almost 150 appearances across all three formats, arguably Roelofsen's most impressive figures have come in T20 cricket. In 44 innings, he has scored 1349 runs at an average of 34.58 and at a strike rate of 125.37.
