South Africa were all out for 287 after Quinton de Kock's attacking century and Rassie van der Dussen's half-century. In reply, India were all out for 283 in 49.2 overs, chasing down a completely misguided chase that should have easily been completed.
After taking two wickets with the ball, Chahar smashed five fours and two sixes with the bat, but in the end his effort was not enough.
Overall, the limited overs series was the most disappointing
