South Africa looking forward to bid to stage 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup.

The South African Football Association (SAFA) are keenly looking forward to bid to stage 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup, it will mark as first time the nation has hosted the women's tournament.

SAFA has clearly announced that they are no longer willing to pursue their bid to host the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup rather they are focusing on 2027 edition.

Earlier, South Africa was also the first African nation to stage the men's FIFA World Cup, in 2010.

For the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup Netherlands, Belgium and Germany have already launched a joint bid for the competition and that will be among the South African proposal's principle rivals.
