South Africa have been fined 20 percent of their match fee for slow over-rate during the 2nd ODI of a 3-match series against India at the Boland Park in Paarl on Friday.
Match referee Andy Pycroft ruled Temba Bavuma's side one over short of the target after taking time allowances into account. After the second ODI Temba Bavuma pleaded guilty to the offense and accepted the proposed sanction, hence the formal sanction. There was no need for a hearing.
