Son Aims to Cement His Legacy as a Tottenham Hotspur Legend.

Captain Son Heung-min says he hopes to be remembered as a Tottenham Hotspur legend, though he feels he's not there yet.

At 32, Son Heung-min is nearing his 10th year with Tottenham Hotspur, having made over 500 appearances. He has scored at least 14 league goals in each of the past eight seasons and formed a strong partnership with Harry Kane before Kane's move to Bayern Munich last summer.

Reflecting on his legacy, Son told BBC Sport, "I hope to be remembered as a legend. Being with one team for 10 years is a significant achievement, but you need consistency and to give back to the club."

He added, "I still don't consider myself a legend yet. I want to win a trophy with Spurs and would be very happy to be called a legend afterward. I joined Spurs to win something, and I hope we can have a special season."
