Skinner Stands Up for Manchester United Women's Training Facilities.

Manchester United manager Marc Skinner has defended the women's team’s training facilities, stating that external criticisms are "far from the truth."

The criticism emerged when the women’s team had to leave their Carrington training site to accommodate the men’s team, moving into temporary facilities.

Over the summer, Skinner’s squad trained at St George’s Park and later went to Marbella for pre-season.

Skinner countered the external criticism, saying, "What’s reported is far from the truth. Carrington wasn’t ready for the women’s team four years ago, but the club invested in new facilities.

"We’ve grown quickly, and while it took time to adjust, our daily training pitches are now better than St George’s Park. They’re so well-maintained you could eat breakfast off them."
