Shelton Battles Through Another Marathon Match to Reach Fourth Round.

American Ben Shelton displayed incredible stamina and determination, surviving his third consecutive five-set marathon to overcome Denis Shapovalov and advance to the fourth round at Wimbledon.

Shelton's resilience and fighting spirit captivated the crowd as he battled through yet another grueling contest, solidifying his reputation as a formidable competitor in this year's tournament.

Fourteenth seed Ben Shelton staged a thrilling comeback from a set down to defeat Denis Shapovalov, winning 6-7 (4-7) 6-2 6-4 4-6 6-2 on Court One.

Shelton, following in the footsteps of his father and coach Bryan who reached the last 16 at Wimbledon 30 years ago, showcased his resilience and determination.

Next, Shelton faces world number one Jannik Sinner on Sunday, a formidable challenge for the 21-year-old who has already played on five of the six days in the Championships so far.

Resuming from Friday with Shelton leading 3-2 in the first set, both players held their serve, pushing the set into a tie-break which Shapovalov won.

However, Shelton's relentless energy and focus saw him triumph in the end, securing his spot in the fourth round.
