Serena Williams will play doubles in Eastbourne the week before Wimbledon 2022.

Serena Williams announced her comeback is coming at Wimbledon. The former world No. 1 will play Wimbledon on a wild card.

Serena Williams has confirmed that she is returning to action at Wimbledon this year. The inclusion of Williams at Wimbledon is as a wild card.

The 40-year-old has won Wimbledon seven times as a singles player and has 23 Grand Slam titles overall to her name. She will play doubles 

at the Eastbourne International with world No. 4 Ons Jabeur next week in preparation for Wimbledon 2022.

After her comeback announcement Williams said  “I am excited to return to the Rothesay International tournament in England and to be back on

the grass, a surface that has been so good to me throughout my career.”
