Republic of Ireland captain Seamus Coleman is out of Tuesday's Nations League match against Greece due to injury. Festy Ebosele will take his place in the squad.
Seamus Coleman, 35, was substituted in the second half of Saturday's loss to England after picking up an injury.
The Football Association of Ireland confirmed that he will return to Everton for recovery.
Coleman appeared to injure his left ankle when Harry Maguire landed on him during an aerial challenge.
Festy Ebosele, on loan at Watford from Udinese, will replace him.
With Coleman's absence, Matt Doherty may move from wing-back to defense for Tuesday’s match against Greece in Dublin.
