Scotland's Rosemary Lenton won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games 2022 at the age of 72.

'Age is just number to count' again proved by Scotland's Rosemary Lenton, after winning gold medal at the age of 72 in the Para Women's Pairs (B6 - B8 category) event in the Lawn Bowls in the Commonwealth Games 2022.

Lenton partnered with 58-year-old Pauline Wilson defeated Australian duo of Cheryl Lindfield (63) and Serena Bonnel (40) with a score of 17-5.


Rosemary Lenton from Dumfries is amongst the oldest competitors in the ongoing mega event. She became Scotland's oldest ever CWG gold medalist with her win in the Para Lawn Bowls.
