Scottie Scheffler cemented his position as the world's top golfer with a commanding win at the Tour Championship in Atlanta.
Scottie Scheffler capped an extraordinary 2024 by winning the Tour Championship, adding to a year that included an Olympic gold, a second Masters title, and back-to-back Players Championship victories.
He became the first player since Tiger Woods in 2007 to secure seven PGA Tour wins in a single season.
Starting the final round with a five-shot lead, Scheffler shot a four-under 67, finishing at 30 under to claim $25 million (£19 million) of the $100 million prize fund. He finished four strokes ahead of Collin Morikawa, who shot a 66, with Sahith Theegala in third at 24 under after a 64.
