Crystal Palace have officially confirmed the signing of former West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Sam Johnstone on a free transfer.
Johnstone's contract with the Championship club expired at the end of June, being a free agent many clubs were interested in signing the England international on a free transfer. Ultimately he confirmed to sign the Crystal Palace club.
The 29-year-old, Johnstone, played 37 times for West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League in the 2020-21 season, winning both the Supporter's and Player's Player of the Year awards, and remained a key part of the side in the Championship during the 2021-22 campaign.
