Rooney Expresses Steelers' Enthusiasm for Hosting NFL Game in Ireland.

Dan Rooney, the Pittsburgh Steelers' director of business development and strategy, stated that the team "would love" to play an NFL game in Ireland in the future.

Ireland has never hosted a regular-season NFL game, although the Pittsburgh Steelers played the Chicago Bears in a pre-season match at Croke Park in 1997.

The Aviva Stadium in Dublin has also hosted college football games in recent years.

"It's been a goal from the start to play a live game in front of Irish fans," said Dan Rooney, speaking at a Steelers training camp in Belfast. "We are working with the NFL and look forward to future opportunities."
