World number one Ronnie O’Sullivan comfortably scripted 4-2 win against Dechawat Poomjaeng and progressed into the last 32 stage of the English Open after a two-frame deficit in Brentwood.

The Thai player, Dechawat Poomjaeng kept the crowd entertained with some captivating antics around the table but ultimately lose control over the game and suffered defeat after regaining his professional status following a five-year absence.

Seven-time world champion O'Sullivan, who battled back to set up a meeting with Martin Gould in the next round of the event.
