Snooker champion, Ronnie O'Sullivan and Joe Perry comfortably clinched their spot in the second round of the Welsh Open in Llandudno.

England's Judd Trump, Northern Irishman Mark Allen, and Scotland's John Higgins have also marked victory in the first round.

Ronnie O'Sullivan sailed into the second round after claiming a sensational 4-0 victory over Oliver Lines while defending champion 
Joe Perry claimed the spot after cruising past Mark King with the same margin.

On the other hand, Neil Robertson triumphed 4-1 against Andrew Higginson.

Home favorite Mark Williams produced a momentum-swinging break of 76 in the fourth frame to overcome compatriot Michael White by 4-2 while John Higgins hit two centuries to whitewash Alexander Ursenbacher.
