Aaron Rodgers' comeback ended in defeat as the New York Jets fell 32-19 to the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium in California.
Aaron Rodgers returned to the field nearly a year after tearing his Achilles in his Jets debut, which sidelined him for the entire last season.
The 40-year-old, a four-time NFL MVP with the Packers, threw for 167 yards, including one touchdown and one interception, but the Jets couldn't overcome the 49ers, losing 32-19.
“It felt great," Rodgers said. "I’m grateful to be back in pads. So many people helped me get here—my surgeon, loved ones, friends, and the training staff. I wanted to feel the game again, and it felt good after a few throws and a hit."
