Belgium's coach Roberto Martinez have officially announced to step down from his current role after his team's early elimination from FIFA 2022 World Cup at Qatar.
Belgium's side exited the 2022 World Cup on Thursday evening, finishing in third Group F behind Morocco and Croatia.
Now, Roberto Martinez has confirmed that his side's draw against Croatia marks the end of his time as manager of the country. He has been in charge since 2016, with his contract set to expire at the end of the World Cup.
It ends a long spell in charge of the side in which he took them to number one in the world rankings and third place at the World Cup in Russia.
