Red Bull has re-signed Daniel Ricciardo as their third driver.

F1 team, Red Bull has officially announced the rejoining of Australia's Daniel Ricciardo as their third driver for the 2023 season.

The Australian left McLaren at the end of the F1 season in Abu Dhabi with his contract terminated a year early following a two-year spell.

Ricciardo raced for Red Bull from 2014 to 2018 and won seven Grand Prix races with the team before a brief spell with Renault ahead of his two years with McLaren.

Ricciardo has just one win over the past four seasons combined, and his best points finish was in 2020 with Renault when he came in fifth.

The 33-year-old Aussie did not win a race during the 2022 campaign, and he only mustered an 11th-place finish in the points standings.
