Professional Development Fund introduced by Ikeja Golf Club

Ikeja Golf Club has introduced a Professional Development Fund to help produce talented young golfers. Taiwo Joda, the Club captain for the 2022/2023 executive, stated that the funding system has been introduce to help the Golfers with quality talent and have the potential to build up their careers but facing financial crisis. At the Inaugural of 2022 tournament at the club house, Joda stated “I am very proud to be associated with the launch of the Ikeja Golf Club Professional Development Fund. It has always been in my mind that the game of golf needs to be taken to the next level. The best investment you can make is to unbundle talent and take it to the next level, especially those who aspire to greatness. One of the main challenges that surround us as a country is poverty.” Joda quoted in his speech that there are many people with talents and ability to play Golf,but because they cannot afford to avail the equipments or to pay for the training to polish their talents and ability.
