Premier League Chief Cautions Against Reaching 'Saturation Point'.

Premier League chief executive Richard Masters has warned that football could reach a saturation point if more matches continue to be added to the already crowded calendar.

The Premier League is joining forces with other European domestic competitions and player unions in a legal battle against FIFA, challenging the governing body's handling of the football calendar. They argue that FIFA has sidelined them, failing to engage in meaningful consultations on scheduling decisions.

This dispute has intensified with FIFA's plans to introduce a 32-team Club World Cup, a move that FIFA claims was discussed with key stakeholders, despite pushback from organizations like Fifpro and the World Leagues Association.
