Police Find No Offenses in Hamilton 'Sabotage' Email Case.

Police have informed the Mercedes Formula 1 team that the sender of an email alleging sabotage of Lewis Hamilton's car did not commit any criminal offenses.

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff alerted the police after receiving an anonymous email alleging sabotage of Lewis Hamilton's car. The email was also sent to senior figures in F1 and media members.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire police stated, "No criminal offenses were found. However, advice was given regarding any future emails."

The email claimed Hamilton's car was being tampered with due to his decision to join Ferrari in 2025. Wolff dismissed the allegations as "mad" and emphasized ending their partnership positively.

Wolff doubted the email was from a Mercedes employee but couldn't trace its source. Ferrari's team principal Frederic Vasseur called the claims "completely irrational" at the Spanish Grand Prix.
