Former Chelsea goalkeeper, Petr Cech has confirmed that he will leave his role as technical and performance advisor at Chelsea this week.
In 2019 after his retirement, he was appointed as the technical and performance advisor of club Chelsea.
Petr Cech spent 11 years at Chelsea between 2004-2015 and won 13 major trophies, including four Premier League titles and the Champions League.
After the announcement Petr commented that "It has been a huge privilege to perform this role at Chelsea for the past three years. With the club under new ownership, I feel now is the right time for me to step aside."
After the departure of Cech, Chairman Bruce Buck is moving into as the senior advisor role after June 30.
