Jonnie Peacock is determined to win his third Paralympic gold at Paris 2024, saying he’ll be "ready to fight" for it.
Jonnie Peacock, 31, claimed Paralympic gold in London 2012 and Rio 2016 but took joint bronze in the T64 100m final at Tokyo.
Recently, injuries and technical challenges led to a fifth-place finish at last year’s World Championships. Despite these setbacks, Peacock believes he’s now running better than he has in four years.
Speaking to BBC Sport’s Sally Hurst, he expressed his determination to win another gold in Paris, saying, "When you've won gold, silver just doesn't compare."
The Paralympics kick off Wednesday, with the T64 100m final set for Monday at the Stade de France.
