Paris Olympics 2024: Manu Bhaker Sets Sights on Third Medal with Women's 25m Pistol Final Qualification.

Manu Bhaker aims to become India's top Olympian by advancing to the final of the women's 25m Pistol event at the Paris Olympics.

Bhaker secured her spot in the final by clinching second place in the qualifier at the Chateauroux shooting range on Friday, setting the stage for an exciting showdown.

Bhaker finished with an impressive score of 590, placing her behind Hungary's Veronika Major, who scored 592, and ahead of Iran's Haniyeh-Rostamiyan, who scored 588.

The qualifier also saw Bhaker's compatriot Esha Singh, who unfortunately didn't make it to the next round, finishing 18th among 40 shooters.

Notably, the qualification world record of 595 was set by India's Rhythm Sangwan in Baku in May 2023, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the event.
