The Indian team will start their Paris 2024 Olympics journey with the archery ranking rounds at Les Invalides.

Six Indian archers will compete in five events—men’s and women’s singles, team events, and mixed doubles.

The ranking round is crucial as it will set their seedings for the finals and impact their chances of winning medals.

Paris 2024 Olympics: India’s Daily Schedule for July 25, Thursday (IST)

Archery Schedule for Today:

Women’s Individual Ranking Round (Deepika Kumari, Bhajan Kaur, Ankita Bhakat) at 1:00 PM

Men’s Individual Ranking Round (Tarundeep Rai, Dhiraj Bommadevara, Pravin Jadhav) at 5:45 PM

Coach's Medal Prediction:

Despite the controversy over Indian archery’s Korean coach Baek Woong Ki being denied accreditation, former Olympian and SAI high performance director Sanjeeva Singh is optimistic.

He expects the six-member Indian archery team to win three medals at the Paris Games, marking a significant achievement after years of striving for success.

The archers—Dhiraj Bommadevara, Pravin Jadhav, Tarundeep Rai, Deepika Kumari, Bhajan Kaur, and Ankita Bhakat—qualified for Paris 2024 and were among the first to arrive at the Games Village after training in Compiegne, France.
