Tunisia's Ons Jabeur sealed her spot in the finals of US Open 2022 after clinching stunning victory over France's Caroline Garcia in the semi-finals clash at the Flushing Meadows in New York.
Fifth seed Jabeur dominated France's Caroline Garcia from start and after 1hr 6min of play Jabeur knocked out Garcia by 6-1, 6-3 at Arthur Ashe Stadium and cruised into the finals.
Ons Jabeur has now become the first African woman to participate in a final at the U.S. Open in the professional era.
On the other semi-final clash, Poland's two-time major winner, Iga Swiatek stormed into the finals after smashing out Belarusian sixth seed Aryna Sabalenka by 3-6 6-1 6-4.
Now on Saturday's final, World number one Iga Swiatek will face aggressive in-form Tunisia's Ons Jabeur for the US Open women's singles title.
