Team GB boxer Lewis Richardson, who won bronze at Paris 2024, has stated that turning professional is "a definite option" for his future.
Richardson, 27, secured a bronze medal at Paris 2024 after a narrow semi-final loss to Marco Verde of Mexico. He was the only boxer from Team GB to win a medal.
"I have no regrets and am very proud of my bronze medal—it wasn’t guaranteed," he said on the BBC Radio 5 Live Boxing podcast.
Richardson plans to take a short break before deciding on his future, considering the possibility of turning professional.
