Novak Djokovic is allowed to compete at Australian Open.

The federal government has declared that Novak Djokovic has been allowed to compete at the Australian Open tennis tournament next year as his visa ban was overturned by the Government.

Djokovic was deported in January before he could compete in the grand slam after then-immigration minister Alex Hawke cancelled the tennis player's visa "in the public interest".

The Serbian, Novak Djokovic holds the men's record for most titles at the tournament and has not been beaten there since 2018.
