Novak Djokovic and coach Marion Vajda end professional partnership for the second time

Novak Djokovic has confirmed that his professional partnership with coach Marion Vajda has ended after working as part of Djokovic's team for 15 years.

Djokovic revealed that the pair had agreed to separate after the ATP Finals in Turin last year.

"Marion has been with me during the most important and memorable moments of my career," Djokovic said in a post on his official website.

“Together we have accomplished some incredible things and I am so grateful for their friendship and dedication over the past 15 years.

“While he may leave the professional team, he will always be family and I cannot thank him enough for everything I have done.

Vajda said: "During my time with Novak, I have been fortunate enough to turn him into the player he is today.

“I will look back on our time together with great pride and I am very grateful for the success we have achieved.

"I am his biggest support on and off the court and look forward to new challenges."
