Nottingham Forest confirms to release Jesse Lingard along with other five players.

Nottingham Forest has officially confirmed to release of former England midfielder, Jesse Lingard along with other five senior players following the end of the 2022-23 season.

Six players leave the Reds at the end of their contracts. Lyle Taylor, Cafu, Jesse Lingard, and Andre Ayew all depart as free agents, with the exits of midfielder Jack Colback and goalkeeper Jordan Smith having already been announced.

The midfielder, Jesse Lingard signed for the Reds on a free transfer last summer, but he was limited to just 20 appearances across all competitions during the 2022-23 campaign.

On the other hand, six academy players, including Billy Fewster, Alex Gibson-Hammond, Ryan Hammond, Nicky Hogarth, Adnan Kanuric and Lewis Salmon, have also been released.

And loan stars Keylor Navas, Dean Henderson and Renan Lodi have returned to their parent clubs.
