Notable Speech Triumphs in Sussex Stakes at Goodwood.

Notable Speech bounced back from a lackluster performance at Royal Ascot to claim victory in the Sussex Stakes at Goodwood.

The Charlie Appleby-trained colt, Notable Speech, was not at his best in the St James's Palace Stakes last month but excelled in the Sussex Stakes at Goodwood. 

As the 3-1 favorite, ridden by William Buick, he surged past competitors, including pre-race favorite Henry Longfellow, showcasing his impressive speed.

Frankel was the last horse to win both the 2000 Guineas and Sussex Stakes in the same season. Buick praised Notable Speech, noting, "He was firing on all cylinders today, showing the rare turn of foot we saw in the Guineas."
