Olympic bronze medalist Lovlina Borgohain and World Champion Nikhat Zareen had a relieved win in the selection trials of CWG and thus secured their places in the Indian women's boxing team for this year's Common wealth Games.
The two-time Strandja Memorial gold medalist (Nikhat Zareen) knocked down Haryana’s Minakshi while Lovlina smashed Railways Pooja by an identical margin.
In the ring Nikhat was at her control and delivering clear punches to her rival boxer.
The other two boxers who has also secured their places in the upcoming CWG are Nitu (48kg) and Jasmine (60kg).
The Common Wealth Games is set to be held in Birmingham from July 28 to August 8.
