Nico Hulkenberg all set to replace Mick Schumacher for Formula 1 race seat next season.

Haas Formula 1 team has dropped Mick Schumacher for the 2023 season, with Nico Hulkenberg has signed with Haas as Schumacher's replacement for the upcoming F1 season.

Hulkenberg, also German, stepped in Haas team and partner with Kevin Magnussen for the 2023 season.

The son of Michael Schumacher has no options left on the 2023 grid. But later, Team Mercedes announced to sign Mick Schumacher as their reserve driver.

Schumacher's only chance of a race seat is the Williams drive that will go to Logan Sargeant unless the Formula 2 front-runner fails to get a superlicence.

Schumacher made his F1 debut last year, joining Haas as part of an all-rookie line-up alongside Nikita Mazepin. In this season, Schumacher has  failed to consistently match Magnussen, particularly when the car has been its most competitive, and has scored 12 points to Magnussen's 25.
