Newey Looks Forward to Future with Another F1 Team.

Adrian Newey has recently shared that he plans to join a different Formula 1 team after announcing his departure from Red Bull Racing.

The 65-year-old design guru, Adrian Newey, has openly expressed his intention to join a different Formula 1 team, mentioning that he's "seriously considering changing teams, going somewhere else and doing another four or five years or whatever."

Although he admitted feeling a bit worn out at the moment, he hinted at a future comeback, saying, "I'll probably go again at some point."

Newey's decision to step down from his role as Red Bull's chief technical officer after a remarkable 19-year tenure was made public earlier this month.

In a recent interview with his manager Eddie Jordan, shared in a marketing video for a yacht company on YouTube, Newey discussed his future plans without disclosing specific destinations. However, rumors suggest discussions with Ferrari, although they have not confirmed any details.

Several F1 teams, including McLaren, Williams, and Aston Martin, have shown interest in Newey. McLaren's CEO Zak Brown has left the door open, saying "never say never" about hiring him.

Williams' team principal James Vowles had a casual discussion, and Aston Martin reportedly made an offer, although the team denies it officially.

Newey's early release from his Red Bull contract paves the way for him to start with a new team in early 2025, just in time to significantly influence the design of their car for the upcoming F1 technical regulations set for 2026.
