New Exeter Chiefs Addition Tua to Undergo Neck Surgery.

Exeter Chiefs have acquired center Tamati Tua from the ACT Brumbies in Australian Super Rugby.

However, the 26-year-old New Zealander will miss the start of the Premiership season in September due to neck surgery.

Tua started his career with Northlands in the New Zealand Championship and made his top-flight debut with the Auckland Blues in 2018. He joined the Canberra-based Brumbies in 2023, playing 31 games and scoring five tries.

Now, Tua aims to help Exeter Chiefs reach the Premiership play-offs after they finished seventh for the third consecutive season.
