The Netherlands secured their sixth consecutive Olympic women’s hockey final with a 3-0 victory over Argentina in Paris.
Luna Noa Fokke scored in the 21st minute to give the Netherlands the lead, followed by Laura Nunnink’s goal just before half-time. Yibbi Jansen added a penalty corner goal in the third quarter to secure their place in the final.
The defending champions dominated possession and kept Argentina from scoring on any of their 12 attempts.
This match mirrored the Tokyo 2020 final, which the Netherlands won for their third Olympic title in four Games, after victories in Beijing 2008 and London 2012.
Belgium will play China in the second semi-final at 18:00 BST on Wednesday, with the bronze and gold medal matches scheduled for Friday.
