Daryll Neita from Britain narrowly defeated American Tamari Davis by a mere one-hundredth of a second to clinch the top spot in the women's 100m event at the Doha Diamond League meeting held on Friday.
The 27-year-old sprinter clocked a winning time of 10.98 seconds in Qatar, securing first place in the women's 100m race. American Celera Barnes took third place behind compatriot Tamari Davis.
This victory adds to Neita's recent triumph in the 200m event at the Suzhou Diamond League in China.
British pole vaulter Molly Caudery also shone, surpassing reigning world champion Nina Kennedy with a jump of 4.73m.
In another event, Kenneth Bednarek set a personal best and world-leading time in the men's 200m, leading an all-American podium.
The Tokyo Olympic Games silver medallist finished comfortably in 19.67 seconds, with Courtney Lindsey in second place and Kyree King in third.
