Neck-and-Neck Race for Olympic Golf Gold Heats Up.

New Zealand's Lydia Ko and Switzerland's Morgane Metraux are tied at nine under par as they head into the final day of the women's golf competition at Le Golf National, following an exciting third round.

Overnight leader Morgane Metraux recovered from a challenging day with an eagle on the 18th, finishing with a one-under 71. 

Lydia Ko, aiming to complete her Olympic medal set with gold, shot a four-under 68, moving up two spots to share the lead with Metraux at nine under par.

Close behind are America's Rose Zhang and Japan's Yamashita Miyu, both at seven under. Nelly Korda and first-round leader Celine Boutier are tied for seventh at four under.

Great Britain's Charley Hull and Georgia Hall remain out of medal contention. 

Hull posted a three-under 69 after a tough start, while Hall carded a one-under 71, sitting at three over overall.
