Natasha Jonas thrashed Kandi Wyatt to become a two-weight world boxing champion.

Briton Natasha Jonas displayed a thrilling dominant performance and knocked out Kandi Wyatt in Manchester to win the vacant IBF welterweight title and become a two-weight world champion.

Canadian fighter Wyatt offered little in response against Jones, who has won 14 of her 17 professional fights as well as she is also the reigning WBC, WBO, and IBF light-middleweight champion.

The Liverpudlian, who improves to 14-2-1 as a professional, had continued to play down retirement talk in the build-up to the fight, and with her latest victory remained on course to tee up further meetings with some of the marquee names in women's boxing.
