Napoli Nears £30m Agreement for Chelsea Striker Lukaku.

Napoli is nearing a deal to sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea following a breakthrough in negotiations.

The 31-year-old Belgian striker is set to join Napoli for around £30m on a permanent deal, which will include a sell-on clause.

There’s also a possibility that Victor Osimhen might move to Chelsea, with the club preferring an initial loan for the Nigerian forward.

Napoli's interest in Lukaku is driven by manager Antonio Conte, who previously worked with him at Inter Milan from 2019 to 2021.

Lukaku returned to Chelsea in 2021 for £97.5m but has been loaned out to Inter Milan and Roma in the past two seasons. His second stint at Stamford Bridge did not go well, and he hasn't played for Chelsea since May 2022.

Chelsea are looking to offload players, as their squad has grown to over 40 after 11 new signings this summer.
