Nadal Withdraws from US Open Citing Fitness Concerns.

Rafael Nadal has withdrawn from the US Open, stating he cannot give his full effort at this time.

Rafael Nadal, who reached the doubles quarter-finals with Carlos Alcaraz and lost to Novak Djokovic in the Paris Olympics, has withdrawn from the US Open.

The 38-year-old Spaniard, who has played at the US Open only once since 2019, did not specify any injury but chose not to compete.

In a post on X, Nadal shared his fond memories of the US Open and the excitement of night sessions at Ashe Stadium. Despite missing this year's event, he plans to compete in the Laver Cup in Berlin in September.

Nadal had previously hinted at retiring later this year and had withdrawn from the Australian Open in January due to injury. He also skipped Wimbledon to focus on the Olympics.
