Robert MacIntyre acknowledged that his golf was "in a dark place" earlier this year, but he managed to turn things around and break into the top 20 of the world rankings.
MacIntyre spent most of the year competing on the PGA Tour in the U.S. after securing his card last year due to his success on the DP World Tour.
The 28-year-old noted that making changes to his team was crucial in improving his performance.
"It wasn’t a personal dark place, but my game was in a dark place," he shared with BBC Sport Scotland.
