Posted 2 years agoMumbai Indians Women have comfortably made up their way into the finals of the Women's Premier League 2023 after claiming a sensational 72 runs victory over the UP Warriorz in Mumbai.
Issy Wong's remarkable hat trick was enough to lead her team, Mumbai Indians into the finals of the inaugural edition of WPL.
Batting first, Mumbai Indians posted a competitive score of 182 runs losing four wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Nat Sciver-Brunt displayed a sensational performance and has contributed 72 runs from 38 balls.
In reply, Mumbai Indian's bowlers were just outstanding and dismissed UP Warriorz at 110 inside 17.3 overs. Issy Wong snatched four wickets in her four-over spell.
In the final encounter on Sunday, the Mumbai Indians Women will face Delhi Capitals for the title.
