Fatima Zahra El Mamouny of Morocco will always remember the day she qualified for the Olympics' newest sport.

Fatima Zahra El Mamouny made history as the first woman to qualify for the breaking competition at Paris 2024, achieving this milestone while her father was undergoing surgery.

Reflecting on the moment, B-Girl El Mamouny shared, "I was sad because it happened on the same day as the African championship. But my dad encouraged me, saying, 'If you want me to be happy and healthy, just do it and win it for me.' And I did it for him."
