India's batting legend Mithali Raj retired as the all-time leading run-scorer in One Day Internationals with 7,805 runs at an average of 50.68.
The right-hander scored 114 not out on her ODI debut against Ireland in 1999 at just 16 years of age.
Mithali Raj announced her decision to "retire from all forms of international cricket" on her official Twitter handle.
Raj, 39, wrote, "I think now is the right time to unveil my sporting career as the team is in the hands of some very talented young players and the future of Indian cricket is bright."
