Mikaela Shiffrin has claimed her seventh world title at the Alpine World Ski Championships.

American Mikaela Shiffrin has comfortably claimed her seventh world title after conquering gold in the giant slalom at the Alpine 
World Ski Championships in Meribel. 

Mikaela Shiffrin prevailed by 12 hundredths of a second over Italian Federica Brignone, combining times from two runs in a total 
time of 2 minutes 7.13 seconds.

Norwegian Ragnhild Mowinckel claimed the third spot and has earned the bronze medal for her nation.
