McLaren will adjust the rear wing that helped them secure victory at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix after competitors raised concerns about its legality.
The FIA stated that McLaren's rear wing, which appeared to flex at high speeds in TV footage, had passed all deformation tests and they originally did not plan to mandate any changes.
However, after receiving complaints from rival teams, especially Red Bull, they reconsidered.
In response, McLaren released a statement saying, "While our Baku rear wing meets all regulations and passes FIA deflection tests, we have proactively proposed some minor adjustments after discussions with the FIA. We also anticipate that the FIA will engage with other teams regarding the compliance of their rear wings."
