Matt Richards and Freya Colbert Secure Paris Olympics Spots with British Title Wins.

Freya Colbert and Matt Richards, both current and former world champions, clinched their spots at the Paris Olympics by winning British titles in London.

Freya Colbert secured her place at the Paris Olympics by winning the 400m medley and meeting the Olympic qualification time.

Meanwhile, Matt Richards emerged victorious in a competitive men's 100m freestyle final, besting 200m Olympic champion Tom Dean and earning an automatic spot for the Olympics.

Scotland's Duncan Scott claimed silver in the race.

Reflecting on his win, Richards mentioned, "That race was just as high pressure as an Olympic final. I thought I was capable of a bit quicker - maybe it wasn't the best-executed race but I can't complain. I got the job done and have left plenty in the tank for the summer."

Despite Dean and Scott also meeting the Olympic qualification time, with only two spots available per event for the Olympics, Richards claimed the automatic place. Scott is now in a good position for the second spot.

All three athletes will compete again in the 200m freestyle race, which promises to be fiercely contested. Additionally, Dean and Scott have further opportunities to qualify individually for Paris in the 200m medley event.

Alex Cohoon secured a place in the 4x100m relay squad for his first Olympics, along with Richards, Scott, and Dean.
